February has felt like a season in transition.
The first signs of spring have started to appear—snow melting, the light shifting—only to return again for a little while longer. That back and forth has defined the month in a quiet way, a reminder that change doesn’t always arrive all at once.
Lately, much of my time has been spent behind the scenes, working on the launch of our new website. It’s been a thoughtful process—one that mirrors how I approach design—refining, editing, and shaping something until it feels aligned.
At home, we’ve found ourselves settling more fully into our space. We carried out extensive renovations shortly after purchasing our home two years ago. Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing more of that process—the renovation itself, along with the slower, more intentional layering that follows. We’re taking our time furnishing and styling each room, allowing it to come together in a way that feels considered and lasting. I’ll be sharing glimpses of that evolution along the way. My design plans have evolved with time, as I’ve come to notice how the light moves through certain spaces and how the home truly lives and how some corners seem to draw you in without thinking.
We have a couple of new design projects currently underway for a sweet family. It’s always a privilege to step into someone else’s home and begin shaping it alongside them, and I’m looking forward to sharing more as these projects take shape.
March is just around the corner, along with a change of pace as we head into March Break. I’m looking forward to a bit of time with the boys and the shift in rhythm that comes with it.
I’ve also be preparing for the Newmarket Home and Lifestyle Show @newmarkethomeshow(hyperlink the name of the show with the link to this , where I’ll be exhibiting on March 28–29. If you’re planning to attend, I’d love for you to stop by and say hello.
For now, February feels like a gentle transition—steady, evolving, and quietly making way for what’s next.
